Stevenson University is a small, private university in Maryland and a national leader in career education, offering 31 career-focused undergraduate degrees, including Nursing, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration, as well as six pre-professional programs for Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Veterinary Medicine. On average, 92 percent of Stevenson graduates are either working and/or attending graduate school within six months of graduation.
University facilities include a 35,000-square-foot gymnasium, a 3,500-seat stadium, and three fitness centers. Stevenson has nationally recognized housing, ranked #1 in Maryland and Top Ten in the US by Niche, with suite-style floor plans and single rooms for freshmen upon request. The 200,000-square-foot Manning Academic Center houses nursing simulation labs, state-of-the-art science labs, fashion studios, and a dining facility. The Philip A. Zaffere Library is our newest campus addition, with more event space, classrooms, and study areas. Coming soon is the Berman Family Performing Arts Center, which will house event and performance spaces for music and theater.
The University is a national leader in NCAA Division III athletics, offering 29 sports, including the first-in-the-nation Men's Beach Volleyball team. Stevenson also offers football, women's beach volleyball, men's and women's ice hockey, and women's acrobatics and tumbling. Owings Mills East, the University's athletic hub, is home to a track and field complex, a turf field for women's field hockey, baseball and softball diamonds, and Bermuda grass fields for both soccer teams.
