From Greenville University

Greenville University was the nation's first school to offer the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) major. A variety of music-related majors like Recording Industry, Music Business, and Media Promotions have helped Greenville graduates become Grammy-winning artists, producers, managers and music industry executives.

Greenville University offers a variety of distinguished academic programs. Over 90% of pre-med graduates gain acceptance to their first choice medical school. The school offers 12 undergraduate Teacher Education programs that were given the highest rating from the Illinois State Board of Education, and Greenville's cutting edge Digital Media major is one of the fastest growing on campus.

Greenville's pristine campus – located 45 miles from downtown St. Louis and the Gateway Arch – was founded in 1892 with the intent to provide a distinctive, Christ-centered college education for men and women. Approximately 1,200 students attend class at Greenville and 80% live on campus. Greenville University is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school and is home to AgapeFest, the nation's only student Christian music festival, and other student-run ventures like Blackroom Records label and WGRN radio.
