Overview

All students eligible for the Pell grant will receive full-tuition scholarships to Antioch College.

We are a new kind of college. We find the reports about the inaccessibility of a college education and the heavy debt burden on the average family troubling. We are also disheartened to read reports that suggest nearly half of all college graduates are unemployed or underemployed. Though ours is a small community, we seek to fundamentally alter the ways in which we voice our commitments to students and families.

We are committed to educational access. We believe cost should not be a barrier to education. We guarantee full-tuition, last-dollar scholarships to all admitted students who are eligible for the Pell grant. Additionally, we will meet the full-demonstrated financial need of all students and will work aggressively to identify merit and need-based scholarships for students of all income levels.

We are a college of action. At Antioch College, students own their education, learn experientially, and act for justice. Antioch provides a platform from which students launch themselves down paths of self-directed study and engage in topics through a range of academic disciplines and real-world experiences. Through our Cooperative Education program, students spend at least 20 percent of their undergraduate careers in compensated, full-time jobs locally, nationally, and internationally.
