From Drake University

Drake University is a private, four-year comprehensive university located in Des Moines, Iowa.  Drake offers over 85 undergraduate majors, two associate degrees, and more than 35 graduate, professional, and doctoral programs. Students at Drake are offered the "best of both worlds" - academic and social opportunities often associated with a large university coupled with the support and community often found at a small college.

Drake students partake in a vibrant campus community just 5 minutes from downtown Des Moines.  On campus, students enjoy a robust student life offering over 170 clubs and organizations along with 16 NCAA Division I athletics.  Des Moines, Drake's home, is the capital city of Iowa and one of the fastest growing, diverse, mid-sized cities (over 730,000 people). Additionally, Des Moines is centrally located between Minneapolis-St. Paul (just under 4 hours), Kansas City (3 hours), Omaha (2 hours), and Chicago (5 hours).

With a variety of study abroad opportunities to chose from, an outstanding internship rate (92.7%) and a top placement rate within 6 months of graduation (97.3%), it's no surprise that the Wall Street Journal ranked Drake among the top 200 colleges and universities in the United States, one of the top 100 private colleges in the U.S., and the #1 private college in Iowa.

Come see for yourself and learn firsthand what makes Drake different.  Until then, enjoy Drake's digital viewbook and digital flipbook.
