The University of Mount Olive is one of the most unique and fastest-growing private educational institutions in North Carolina. Whether a student is getting ready to graduate from high school, wanting to transfer to a new college setting or is a working adult with little time to earn a college degree, the University of Mount Olive provides students with programs to fit their individual needs in a time and setting convenient for any lifestyle.

The University of Mount Olive (UMO) is focused on providing a superior educational experience in an engaging, A Christian values-centered environment, our small classes, caring faculty and staff, and our affordable tuition will help you reach goals you never thought possible. UMO offers a wide variety of degree programs with hands-on experiences for incoming students, as well as competitive athletic programs and numerous opportunities for personal growth and development to make your college experience a memorable one.

UMO adds new programs every year, most recently adding computer science, justice studies, and Nursing. UMO is also the first NC-based private university to offer a flight school, allowing students to become licensed pilots while earning their degree. Additional fields of study include business, agriculture, education, science, music, recreation and leisure studies, psychology, and Christian studies.

Outside the classroom, students can compete on 23 highly competitive NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletic teams or participate in more than 25 student organizations. The University of Mount is strategically evolving to reach new heights of excellence in teaching and in service to students, to its founding church, and to the world at large.
