Known nationally for its Odyssey Program, Hendrix enables engaged students to personalize their educational journey. Students have a choice of 32 majors. Or, they can design their own major. Graduates have created an inter-disciplinary focus in such majors as international journalism; mathematical economics; human rights; social justice; and, religion, globalization and culture.
Hendrix draws 1,100+ undergraduates from 37 states and 10 countries to a 175-acre campus (including an arboretum) in scenic Conway, Arkansas — 30 miles north of the state capitol, Little Rock. An 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio enables an average class size of 16.
A recent tuition reset cut the College’s list price by a third. With its “Tuition Advantage” program, Hendrix guarantees that a student’s tuition will be comparable to the published price at the flagship university in his or her home state.
The College offers involvement options in 70 student clubs and organizations — or,21 NCAA Division III varsity teams. There’s a Phi Beta Kappa chapter. Hendrix is the 48th SAGE member college affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
